A Clovis couple who bought a “recycled lemon” from a local car dealership was awarded $10 million Monday by a Fresno County jury intent on punishing Ford Motor Co. “My clients were simply one of thousands unfortunately and fraudulently sold a lemon,” said William M. Krieg, the lawyer representing Greg and Jo Ann Johnson. A conflict is heating up in Pennsylvania, where a high-profile lawyer who specializes in lemon law cases has filed an odometer fraud suit against an Ephrata dealership that sued him earlier for alleged racketeering and misrepresentation. The latest move is a suit in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia filed by Craig Kimmel, of Ambler, on behalf of Shawn Mosley.
