Ford wins N.C. jury verdict in Explorer rollover trial

A North Carolina jury found that Ford Motor Co. Is not responsible for the deaths of two men in an accident at the company’s F-250 truck and Explorer Sport-Utility Vehicle, according to Bloomberg News. William Lynthacum was driving lorry near Ellerbe, North Carolina, in March 2003, when it has a purpose by the Explorer, rolled in its wake. Lynthacum and his passenger, Larry Ray Shannon, both were killed. Their families continued Ford, who claim Explorer is unstable and caused the accident. They also shortcomings of the R-250-chest. A jury court of Rockingham, NC, Wednesday, that Ford is not responsible for the deaths, Bloomberg News reported today. A Clovis couple who bought a "recycled lemon" from a local car dealership was awarded $10 million Monday by a Fresno County jury intent on punishing Ford Motor Co.
