Is Your Car A Michigan Lemon?
|
|
Michigan’s lemon law has very specific requirements. If your new car has been in the shop for the same repair four times over the past two years, it’s a lemon. If your new car is out of service thirty days or more during the manufacturer’s warranty or the first year, whichever is shorter, it’s also lemon. You can demand a refund or a replacement car, if your new ride’s a lemon. In Michigan, the lemon law applies to four-wheel vehicles used for personal family, or household use or fleets of less than 10, including pickups and vans, excluding buses, trucks, and motor homes.
