SAIC 2007 profit triples


SAIC Motor Corp., China, the largest automaker, said profit more than tripled in 2007, after buying shares in companies with General Motors Corp. and Volkswagen AG.

Using its state's lemon law, the Florida Supreme Court has ruled that car lessees may sue for breach of warranty under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA). (Am. Honda Motor Co. v.
